Arranged in six groups: I. Vocal scores (2). II. Vocal parts (21). III. Chorus parts (20). IV. Librettos (1). V. Promptbooks (8 in 9 vols.). VI. Dialogue parts (13). The published vocal scores include a German edition by Peters (Leipzig, 187-?) and a French edition by Schonenberger (Paris, 1830-50?). With the exception of the English libretto (published by F. Rullman, New York, 1870, translation by K.A. Ritter), all of the remaining materials are handwritten in German. Several items bear the stamps of W. Kreitz Musical Library, E.W. Bredow Theaterdirection, Theater-Direction L.F. Witt and/or Theater Bibliothek L. Riel. In addition, a set of 14 chorus parts bears the signature of Kreitz.
